Roofing and wall cladding sheets shall be 0.47 TCT or 0.50 TCT LCP K-CLAD ® 30 profile sheets with trapezoidal ribs of 30 mm high, spaced at 200 mm centre-to-centre in five pans, with an effective cover width of 1000 mm and an overall cover width of 1060 mm. The anti-capillary side laps are intended to prevent water from seeping through the lateral overlap. The sheeting is made of high-tensile steel with a minimum yield strength of G 550 MPa and is hot-dip coated with an aluminium-zinc alloy (55 percent aluminium, 45 percent zinc) in accordance with AS:1397 and IS:15961. The minimum coating mass for zinc/aluminium alloy-coated sheet is AZ150 (minimum coating mass of 150 grammes per square metre). All accessories, such as gutters, flashings, and capping, must be made of the same material.

The sheet must be installed according to the manufacturer's instructions. The fasteners used to secure the metal sheets to the supports must meet AS3566 requirements and be suitable with the roofing material.

The approved side lap must face away from the prevailing weather when the sheets are set out. For gutter projection, a minimum of 50mm must be given. Flashings must be provided in appropriate materials as specified, with a minimum cover of 150mm. All sheets should be secured in a workmanlike way, resulting in a neat and weather-tight job. Every day, all debris (nuts, screws, cuts, filings, and so forth) should be cleaned off.
